Touch Tanks –You will be able to find all different kinds of touch tanks and animals. The SeaWorld, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, and The Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium exhibits will all have touch tanks FREE of charge.
Shark Tooth Sand Dig – There will be a large sand pit willed with shark and ray teeth. Your kids will be able to sift through the sand to find these treasures. The best news is they will be able to keep the teeth that they find (there will be a limit on the number of teeth found per child).
SeaWorld Exhibit – get your picture taken with a replicas of sharks, hold fossils, ask questions of the staff, and work on several art projects that SeaWorld has provided. Also learn about how you can be a part of the conservation team.
Paddle Board Clinic – Sharkssup will be on hand to show you all the techniques including the correct way to paddleboard. There will even be a course so you can try it out on your own. You will just have to be prepared to get wet.
Ocean Bounce House – Do you want a great place for your kids to burn off some energy? There will be an ocean themed bounce house where your kids can bounce to their hearts content. There will be size limits and children will be rotated in and out so that everyone can enjoy.
Be A Diver Scuba Pool – sponsored by Go Dive Now. Always wanted to try scuba? Here is your chance. Everything you need will be available for you to jump in and try scuba and the feeling of breathing underwater in a safe shallow environment.
Shark Ride – Think you can ride a shark? This ride is like the bucking bronco ride, except it is a great white shark. If you have ever wanted to try to see how long you can hang on SharkCon2 is the pace to try. There is an additional fee to ride.
Shark Slide – Slide down and out the mouth of our 22 foot shark slide. Adults and kids are allowed on this slide.
Mermaids – There will be an oasis with beautiful mermaids swimming around. You can come and take pictures at this photo opportunity. Your kids will be amazed to see the mermaids swim around and interact with them. The mermaids will be in the pool during specific times each day.
Shark Specimens – visit the Florida Fish and Wild exhibit to look at and handle all sorts of shark specimens. Also, Look for their “how to identify the shark species” class on Sunday Afternoon.
Marine Rescue Exhibit -The Clearwater Marine Aquarium will have a display and demonstrations on how they go about a marine mammal rescue.
Mote Mobile Exhibit – they will have all sorts of fossils, an aquarium, a touch tank and more for your kids to explore and ask questions about their favorite marine life.
Conservation Organization Activities – We have partnered with 13 conservation organizations for them to provide activities and information at each one of their exhibits.
STEM projects – local students have put together projects to reduce the amount of bycatch in local fishing. Stop by and learn about their projects and vote for your favorite. Sponsored by Incredible Adventures and the Tampa Bay STEM Network.
